Jay Mohler is a former long-time resident of Joshua Tree, California, and an avid explorer of Joshua Tree National Park.   He now creates ojos de dios--eyes of God--from his home in North Carolina.   The website is dedicated to his craft.

Jay also maintains a fascinating page called "Desert Mysteries of Joshua Tree National Park," which describes through extensive writings and photographs the park's hidden natural and archeological wonders.
