Jay Mohler is a former long-time resident of Joshua Tree, California, and an avid explorer of Joshua Tree National Park.   He now creates ojos de dios--eyes of God--from his home in North Carolina.   The website is dedicated to his craft.

Jay also maintains a fascinating page called "Desert Mysteries of Joshua Tree National Park," which describes through extensive writings and photographs the park's hidden natural and archeological wonders.

The Outdoors Club
The Outdoors Club began a few years ago in southern California and has spread nationwide.   It is an Internet-based forum for outdoor enthusiasts of all stripes to participate in a wide variety of member-led activities.   Events range from casual evening hikes to photography excursions to whitewater raftings trips to extreme mountain ascents.
